Victor Frankenstein gives life to a creature that takes life, does this situation present a historical, religious, mythological, and/or symbolical perception of the novel’s content?

    Frankenstein’s story bears resemblance to the famous myth of Prometheus who gave fire to man. This is a very important similitude, at Prometheus was similarly cast out by the gods, just as Frankenstein the monster is exiled by his creator.
